Our Story
My journey into early childhood development was inspired by my personal experiences with my son (Abhi). While exploring childcare services for my son, I realized that the preschools I visited were low-quality daycare centers with minimal emphasis on child development. I was never able to understand if or when my son was reaching developmental milestones and how a child was treated esp. if a child’s learning style is different or if a child has developmental delays.
I embarked on the ElevateChild mission “To assist children in achieving their developmental milestones and objectives during the critical ages of their brain and body development & help them elevate to their full potential.”
One day, my husband and I (being management consultants at McKinsey & Company and Deloitte resp.) did an intense brainstorming session on bringing the ElevateChild mission to life and came up with an initial view. Later, I discussed our approach with several leading early childhood education practitioners in the US and India to fine-tune the approach. Our whole-child approach was born (please download the white paper in Parent Corner for details of the ElevateChild Whole-Child Approach). In summary, our approach focuses on child development outcomes by combining multiple philosophies (e.g., Reggio, Montessori, and Waldorf methodologies, and leading academic curricula, such as Creative Curriculum). It also provides complete transparency to parents through assessments (GOLD by Teaching Strategies) and live streaming (WatchMeGrow).
